Such widespread hunger in the world’s wealthiest country is unconscionable & indefensible. Bravo to Joel Berg, my fellow NYer I’m proud to say, for presenting doable & concrete steps that can make the difference. If there’s money to subsidize the production of corn syrup, how can there be a lack of money for nutritious food for hard working families? Mr. Berg is right, “We’re all in this together.” And “we have made a lot of progress..finish the job.”
