What would Carpenter recommend if asked her opinion about whether Americans should change their eating habits? What is her message about food and society?

I agree with Novella, it’s all very addictive, I started out with growing vegetables which has lead to keeping bees. I’d love to have a few chickens next year and oh help me I dream of having those cute little goats. It’s an awesome feeling growing your own food and very rewarding. If I could I would hang out in my garden all day and watch my bees.
