Growing up, Sunday dinners were always special as we gathered with grandparents, aunts, uncles & cousins. Now most of us live in separate states but my husband & I still try to maintain Sunday night as family dinner night. We're always home or with family and will make something extra-special. We also light candles which the kids just love. I enjoy the opportunity to take as long as I want to prepare a good meal for my family.

This was such a lovely & sweet post. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for a great post. Now I'm hungry for pozole!

For those of us who are challenged to cook more often, to cook better food, and to use up what comes from our CSA, the big Sunday meal is a great way to get started.
