Yes, I know of Farmer Don’s passing. He will be sorely missed by many. I’m not sure what will even come of his farm. Do you know it is a Century Farm? When I filmed this story (several years ago) he shared at that time there was no one in his family interested in taking over the farm once he was gone. Perhaps that has changed. I hope so.

Unfortunately, Farmer Don passed away suddenly this past winter. Will the sunflower field remain? We shall see.
