I'm not a chef, but I saw a need to introduce people to local, sustainable food and show how easy it can be to whip up something delicious. I do a segment about nutrition, then visit a local farm, and then do a cooking segment. I completely agree that there needs to be a sustainable food show on TV - to reach a larger audience.

This is kind of shameless self-promotion but I do a web show called The Natural Princess. My husband, Jon, and I have a Podcast and blog on iTunes and at www.OurNaturalLife.com/blog/. But the best news is that Zachary Adam Cohen is developing a reality TV show called Farm to Table that will have chefs traveling the country to discover local sustainable eats. We'll be interviewing him for our show this fall. His blog is here http://www.zacharyadamcohen.com/farmtotable/. And you can follow him on Twitter and Facebook. Thanks for educating about sustainable food! I love being part of the movement!

Heather, you’re so right that we need more media devoted to sustainable food!
