Harvesting Fresh Fruit Berries For A Local Farmer’s Market

As farmers markets have increased exponentially in number across the country, what does it take for farmers to prepare for each market event?

How’s that for hard work and dedication!

To find out more about Unger Farms, and the berries they grow, check out these related videos we produced last year:

  • Growing Fresh Berries for the Farmers Market
  • The Albion Strawberry: Everbearing, June through October

Full Bucket of Raspberries Hanging On Hook
A full bucket of raspberries hung on a pole while the second bucket is used to continue picking. When complete, both buckets will be carried back to the truck in the field. Each returned bucket gets counted, and poured into pint containers.
