David Shenaut, one of the leaders in the Portland bartender scene, shows us how to make the Souracher, a buck drink. It’s a drink he invented several years ago and he carries over to the places he works, including the soon to open Raven and Rose restaurant. The ingredients for the Souracher, as Shenaut explains in the video, is a variation of the standard “Buck” drink, a family of mixed drinks typically containing ginger ale or ginger beer in their ingredient list.
Souracher Ingredients:
- 1 oz Rye
- 1 oz Campari
- 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 1 oz Lime juice
- 1 oz Ginger beer
