Ingredients
- 3 14.5 ounce cans of green beans
- 4-5 slices bacon
- 3 medium sized potatoes, pared, cut into ½” pieces
- 1/3 cup bean liquid (add water, if necessary)
- dash salt
- one-quarter large onion, sliced
Instructions
- Drain beans, reserve liquid, fry bacon until crisp.
- Add potatoes, green beans, and remaining ingredients to bacon and fat.
- Cook covered about 25-30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
