Chilli Cookoff: And the Winner Is?

This is a fun little video that took place without planning, in route to a different shoot. We happened to pass a chili cookoff going on in a parking lot, and so stopped to get some opinions of the different kinds of chilli being cooked. Find out the surprise we experienced after the video was shot!

Organicology: Upcoming 3-day Conference in Portland, Oregon

Not since the Mary Poppins’ cinematic song hit “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” (roughly translated to mean: atoning for educability through delicate beauty) has so much hay be made from a word that has no actual meaning in the dictionary.

A new 3-day conference and intensive workshop, Organicology whose non-literal meaning translates: “The study of a sustainable food future”, is taking place February 26-28, 2009, in Portland, Oregon. This conference is attracting a diverse group of experts and food enthusiasts from around the country that promises to offer “unparalleled educational programming relevant to all aspects of the organic foods trade”. Cooking Up a Story will be there to film for future Cooking Up a Story: Food News interviews, and to gather information for other future shows.
