Cooking Up a Story introduces its new online store

As part of the show’s journey, we have recently opened an online store to feature artisan made products that relate to the broad themes of our show. Over the years, we have filmed countless stories and DIY videos that focus on the work of individual food artisans, and the leap to that of finished products that are highly distinctive and well-made seems a natural step forward. Personal taste is individual by nature, and all we can really say with authority is we like the artisans and the products that they make, and many are not readily available elsewhere to buy.

As you will see in this video, there’s no big difference in this story and many others we have done except there are products that are made, and can be purchased through us. If you do find something you like, not only do we as merchants (in this case) benefit, but so too, the artisan that has labored to produce their work. Not everyone is drawn to niche products, just as not everyone is drawn to niche media for entertainment and information.

We value true individual voices just as we value distinctive handmade products.
