Lynn Royce, Entomologist, Beekeeper, and Breeder

April 15, 2011. Whenever we look to what’s going on scientifically with honeybees, instinctively we turn to Dr. Lynn Royce for information. We spoke with her on-camera last August about Colony Collapse Syndrome, and her ongoing work to breed more disease resistant queen bees—she does not treat her hives with pesticides.

The pictures below were taken from our visit last summer. For those in the area of Philomath, Oregon, her honey is the best I have ever tasted.
