This is a locally produced video by filmmaker Dan Sadowsky about an innovative program by Mercy Corp Northwest to help recent refuges to the Portland area transition into the community.
The garden refuge program provides food and work in agriculture to help these families put food on their tables, learn agricultural farming practices, and offers a bridge toward acclimating into American society.
