This mixed media piece (video and still images) was shot for the School Garden Project of Lane County, a local non-profit that works with elementary school children to create, maintain and teach students about gardening. These children learn where their food comes from, learn about biology, and a sense of working together. Lane County is located in the Southern Willamette Valley in Oregon.
This advocacy piece, 10 minutes in length, was shot to help with fundraising efforts for their recent fundraising event held in Eugene, Oregon. This video provides a positive reason to support teaching children where their food comes from, to head off the potential for health issues that are becoming epidemic at the present time with the consumption of highly processed, and sugary foods.
