The Beer Engine and True Imperial Pint Measure

In the Brewers Union Local 180 a poster on the wall depicts England in 1699, and an official decree from King William III that all beer served must be in either full ale quart or pint size measure, with a corresponding mark on the glass, and extra room for the beer head.

Publican Ted Sobel of the Brewers Union Local 180 obediently complies with the King’s wishes.

Oakridge Local 180 Imperial Pint

Sobel’s English style pub only produces cask-conditioned brews, and he shows how his beer engine works, and the full imperial pint (20 oz.) and half pint (10 oz.) jars that he serves to his customers.

Cheers!
