“The Holocene has ended. The Garden of Eden is no more. We have changed the world so much that scientists say we are in a new geological age: the Anthropocene, the age of humans,” — Sir David Attenborough
Speaking in Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum, famed naturalist and broadcaster Sir David Attenborough spoke in stark terms about the state of the environment and the impacts from climate change. Far from giving up, he urged renewed world effort to respond in kind to the serious threats to civilization arguing that the engines for economic growth must fundamentally change. Politics aside, our planet can not maintain its present trajectory.
