Transforming an Old Truck Into an Edible Garden

It’s a simple idea for a story but this 22 minute film is actually fun to watch.

This is how the filmmakers describe Crops For Clunkers: “A short documentary by filmmaker Lou Karsen chronicling the transformation of a ’78 Mazda pick-up truck into an edible garden for the 2010 Northwest Flower and Garden show. Featuring Colin McCrate and Brad Halm of the Seattle Urban Farm Company.”

In a similar vein of amusing entertainment for a purpose, check out this interview with Curt Ellis and Ian Cheney about their documentary film, Truck Farm.
