February 09, 2010 Let’s Move!, the new initiative that was kicked off today at the White House by first lady Michelle Obama, Will Allen (Growing Power), Judith Palfrey (president of the American Academy of Pediatrics), and Willis “Chip” Johnson, mayor of Hernando, MS. The purpose of the initiative and website is

“to solve the epidemic of childhood obesity within a generation.”

Quite the challenge, but worth the effort!
