The headline could easily have read instead: Human Civilization As We Know It— Imperiled: World Leaders Unable to Galvanize Appropriate Response

Despite (by and large) a majority consensus amongst the world’s climate science experts (though far less consensus amongst politicians, in particular, those in the U.S.) that indeed Climate Change is real, and very serious, little concerted effort among nations is underway to address this threat.
