Below is a video we produced about Ben Jacobsen when he was starting his artisanal salt business. We were initially attracted to his story because he was harvesting the salt from the sea near the Oregon coast. At the time (and I think it may still be true today), his was the only company producing salt in this manner on the West Coast.
