November 30, 2010 Update: Food Safety Modernization Bill (S510) passes by a vote of 73-25 this morning. It goes back to the House of Representatives for final approval.
“The bill is intended to get the government to crack down on unsafe foods before they harm people rather than after outbreaks occur.”
